Why did I settle in Fresno?

My mom was born in the U.S., but she lived in Mexico City until she was 20 years old; she met  my father in Mexico and both decided to come to USA.  My mother at that time had an aunt that lived in Fresno and she offered my parents to come live with her until they find a place on their own.  When they arrived to Fresno, they both found a job and a few months later bought their first home.  6 years later my sister was born and seven years later I was born; we both were born at Saint Agnes Hospital.  Then my parents started their own business (our own family business) in Fresno; so born in Fresno, family business in Fresno and today, October 15th we got the keys to our new house (guess where?) Of course, Fresno, so we will be here for a while at least until I start college, then I can go settle in Las Vegas. We love Fresno because is close to LA, San Francisco, the beach, Las Vegas, etc. so that is why we settle in Fresno.

AMAZING book

I really liked this book because it is like if you were in the book because in some parts it is so fascinating that you will want to read more & in other parts it is like a mystery & adventure it will suck you into the book.

In one part, Erik (the boy) was in a barn where he saw a shadow.  When Erik came close to the shadow, to his surprise, he found out that it was a dog.  The dog barked at him in joy, but the dog was injured; she had porcupine needles on her face; Erik called a vet on his cell phone; the vet came and cured the dog.

It was so fascinating that Erik survived in the wilderness without anybody. Erik ran out of his grandfather's home since he was treated like trash.  He learned how to hunt animals in order for him to be able to eat them and survive; however, he barely knew how to cook, so most of the time the food was raw.

Why!

WHIP!!!!!!!

When students were not listening or misbehaving they were WHIPPED!!!!! In Mexico if they were misbehaving they would be hit on the finger tips with a ruler. OUCH!!!! Or if they were talking they (the teachers) would throw the board eraser that was made out of wood & cloth. The teachers wouldn't care where it hit (face, head, body). In other country's they still do that.I watched some videos on you tube and saw the students with whip marks. When students were not listening or misbehaving they would whip them!!!!!In Mexico they would whack them on the fingertips!!!!!But if you were talking they would throw the board eraser at you that was made out of wood... In other country's they would still whack, whip, or burn .

THE VOICES

Digory

Dear diary,

Today I heard a voice in the shadows I didn't know what that voice was. But  it was actually sweet. First there was just one voice ,then many voices. Those voices actually made me calm. Those voices were so calm I wish I could here them again.

Lost!!

If I were lost in the woods with digory we would  be in sooooooooo much trouble right now. I bet right now we would be in a life or death situation. We would be like the mischievous bros.
